gower and davies can seriously fuck off. omg. it has to be e most convoluted, fucked-up, messed-up textbook i've ever read. and then kershaw summarises 100 pages of gower & davies nicely into a well-argued, put-together 50 pages. and e dept offers g&d as e main reading. oh kill me already. today is the last day i'm touching gower & davies EVER!
